The American Desert
by Oscar, Jill, and Adrienne
Our habitat is the American Desert. Deserts can be very hot
or very cold but are very dry. The American
Desert is very hot and gets more rain than most deserts. More rain means more
plants and animals can survive in the desert. Saguaro is a cactus that lives in
the American Desert and a Jackrabbit is an animal that lives in the American
Desert.
The Artic is also a desert. Unlike the American Desert, it
is very cold.
We learned about deserts here.
